Live-in services

For pets who are happiest in their own home environment, our Live-In Pet Sitting Service offers the highest level of personalised care whilst providing added security and peace of mind for you and your property.

This service is particularly suitable for elderly pets, pets requiring medication or specialist care, multi-pet households, anxious pets, or those who simply do not adapt well to boarding environments. By remaining in familiar surroundings, your pet can continue enjoying their usual routine, comforts, and daily habits with minimal disruption.
While you are away, one of our carefully selected Pet Sitters will stay in your home and provide dedicated care, companionship, exercise, feeding, and supervision, ensuring your pet receives the attention they deserve.

All of our Pet Sitters are mature, reliable, experienced animal lovers who have been carefully chosen for their professionalism, trustworthiness, and commitment to animal welfare.

Our Matching Process

Prior to your departure, we will arrange a meeting between you and your chosen Pet Sitter at your home. This allows us to discuss your pet's daily routine, feeding requirements, medication, exercise schedule, behavioural traits, and any special instructions.
We carefully match each client with the most suitable Pet Sitter to ensure both owner and pet feel comfortable and confident with the arrangement.
Our aim is to provide continuity, companionship, and the highest standard of care, allowing your pet to enjoy their normal routine whilst you are away.

  • Opening and closing curtains or blinds
  • Feeding fish and other small pets

Whilst our Pet Sitters will keep your home clean and orderly throughout their stay, please note that they are not professional cleaners and housekeeping duties are limited to maintaining the property to a reasonable standard.

Important Information

Vaccinations and Preventative Healthcare

The health, safety, and wellbeing of all pets in our care is of paramount importance. As a condition of using our services, all vaccinations and preventative healthcare treatments listed on our Registration Form must be kept fully up to date.

This includes, where applicable, the Kennel Cough vaccination, regular flea treatments, and routine worming treatments. Clients may be asked to provide evidence that these requirements have been met prior to the commencement of services.

As Kennel Cough is highly contagious, we are unable to accept any dog displaying symptoms of the condition or any dog whose required vaccinations are not current.

Cancellation Policy

Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details of our cancellation policy.

Should a Pet Sitter identify any undisclosed behavioural concerns that place people, animals, or property at risk, Pet Sanctuary reserves the right to suspend or terminate services with immediate effect.
